Accommodation description: 4 suites are distanced from each other to offer solitude and serenity. Each suite has a fireplace, sitting room, private pool and al fresco shower surrounded by a wooden deck and granite wall. The spacious ensuite bathrooms pamper and delight guests.

Children’s policy: Children are welcome when the lodge is booked for sole-use. Regretfully, children 5 years and younger cannot participate in game drives. Children aged 6 to 11 on game drives at lodge manager’s discretion. One triple room for a child 11 years and younger sharing with its parents is available for sole-use bookings.

Cuisine description: The expert chef team is tasked with creating meals that exude the essence of Africa's richness, its history, its soul. "We want our food to celebrate our continent rather than copy Western fads or fussiness".

The freshest of fresh food is purchased from surrounding communities - lemongrass, mint, sun-ripened tomatoes, wild rice, bananas of every shape and hue, and mangoes by the treeful. Africa's pantry is endless. Our food is wholesome, natural and generous - never drowned in sauces or served grandly stacked in tiers. Our food is like our continent - it is exciting, fresh, robust, vibrant, unadorned, bursting with flavour, and very precious.

Facilities: The elevated dining and sitting areas boast dramatic views out over the confluence of the Sand and Mabrak Rivers. Dinner is served in enchanting settings adding romance to magical African evenings. Pan African meals are shared on the open deck tucked under the boughs of a jackalberry tree, or in the boma around a roaring fire. Guests can browse the chic safari gear and African handicrafts in the well-stocked Safari Shop.
