VUYATELA - 8 Luxury Suites each enjoy superb views. Private plunge pools and a private deck are the ideal vantage points from which to enjoy the beauty of the African wilds. Air-conditioning, overhead fans, and heating ensure that the heat of a summer's day, or the frost of a wintery evening do not impact on the comfort of guests.
Have you ever showered under the stars? If not, this is a must. Each suite at Vuyatela enjoys an outdoor shower.
GALAGO CAMP - Accommodation is in five luxury colonial-style bedrooms (all en-suite with air conditioning). Galago Camp has expansive views.
Children's policy: Children of all ages are welcome at Djuma Private Game Reserve. Babysitters are available
Cuisine description: Djuma prides itself on traditional South African recipes, including hearty venison dishes. Lunches include light summer soups, cold meat platters, and an array of fresh salads with a hot dish.
Facilities: At Vuyatela you can sip cocktails from your private pool while watching wild animals meander in front of you. There is also a library and gym.
The "Rubbing Post" is located at Vuyatela, but services all three of the Djuma lodges and offers a range of treatments including aromatherapy; reflexology; swedish massage; tension massage; paraffin back massage; Indian head massage; full back massage; hot stone massage; aromasoul; oriental aromasoul; Mediterranean aromasoul; Indian aromasoul; Arabian aromasoul; manicures; pedicures; facials; hot stone pedicure and waxing. |
At Galago Camp, there is a viewing deck with plunge pool. As a self-catering lodge, there is a fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. The lodge also has a dedicated game viewing vehicle with a ranger and tracker.
Facilities common to both camps include: lounge; dining room; bar; terrace and thatched viewing deck; swimming pool; massage and treatment spa (housed at Vuyatela Camp); internet facilities; open-view boma; well-stocked curio shop.

Djuma prides itself on a Community development programme with the Buffelshoek Trust www.buffelshoektrust.co.za. Guests may enjoy daily village trips to local villages, or contribute to a feeding scheme at Utha and Dixie créche.
Full English breakfasts are served at the lodge or out in the bush, while Bush Braais / BBQs are the perfect way to end a day.
